Windows Media Player Mobile 10 is the great media software you have come to love on your Windows XP or Windows Vista Machine, but it is now in mobile devices that run the Windows Mobile 6 software.

Windows Media Player Mobile was first announced on January 6,2000 by Bill Gates at the CES convention, the main focus behind this first release was that users would be able to download clips from the web and play them in their Windows Mobile Devices.

The Windows Media player software was then integrated into the Pocket PC 2000 which was released in April 2000, the most recent version of Windows Media Player Mobile was released in October 2004 and had a very similar look and feel to the current Windows Media Player 10 Desktop software, this put the player in a much stronger position with those who were familiar to the design
