Unable to hear Audio from USB Connected Device in Windows Vista
How does this error occur This error commonly appears in the Windows Vista version of Windows Media Player 11 where a user is unable to hear any audio from a newly connected USB device such as a set of speakers. What is the status of the issue? Currently Microsoft have identified it as a problem and this article will be updated accordingly when Microsoft patch the issue. Can I do anything to solve the issue The main workaround is to restart Windows Media Player 11, there isn't much else that has been recommended at this time.
