Mini Player Does not work in WMP10 after upgrade from WMP9
If you find the mini player does not work in WMP10, this is the smaller window of the main Windows Media Player Window that loads up onto your Windows XP taskbar down in the bottom near the start menu. In some cases simply restarting the computer can work, this is because setup of programs such as WMP10 tend to install the last few bits at restart. If you have no luck with this then you will want to right click the bottom taskbar at the bottom of your Windows XP screen, more commonly known as the Windows Taskbar. A dropdown menu will appear, select Tools and then click 'Windows Media Player'. This will now uncheck the option. You will then want to restart your computer, once you return to the desktop, reinstall Windows Media Player 10. For those who don't have the download link use the below link to download the setup program

Once you have downloaded and reinstalled Windows Media Player 10, restart the computer again and you should have added the miniplayer back to the taskbar. If not right click the taskbar again, go up to tools and select 'Windows Media Player', repeat this and click the same link again.
